It was my 31st birthday and I was getting on a plane headed for the Caribbean Sea. When I left the cabin, a heat stroke warned me that we were already in beach weather. A significant number of tourists were waiting for the transport that should take them to their paradisiacal hotels (just like Juanito—the other half of the team—and me). A few months after meeting in a cozy café in Asunción, Paraguay; we met again, but this time, in front of that turquoise sea.
The day of Melanie and Manu's wedding started very early in the gym, continued on the beach and then went into ‘wedding mode’ and began with the preparations of each one. We took a bus to the magnificent Moon Palace that was waiting for us. Another thing that was also waiting for us was a gigantic storm (it was) that broke out minutes before leaving for the chapel for the religious ceremony (the funny thing was that we were able to get on a golf cart to get to the place). It was a great time surrounded by family and friends; the ones that matter.
Back at the hotel and after photos on the beach we went back to that top floor where we felt and breathed that sea in front of us (barely illuminated by the moonlight). What followed from dinner was simply spectacular, bride and groom surprising everyone with a dance number and unleashing what was one of the hottest parties I've ever been to.
Although the speakers were no longer working, I still remember clapping hands in the water to the beat of the music.
An unforgettable night.
Simplemente, gracias M&M.
