Hi, I’m Lucca.
I’m a documentary photographer who values truth over aesthetics. I don't want to create a story for you; I want to notice the one that is already happening.
I’m aware that my style might not be for everyone. But hey, someone once told me: 'if you like it, there’s probably someone else who does too.' That stayed with me. It’s why I stopped trying to please the majority and started focusing on what feels true to me.
I’ve always been an outlier. Growing up in Formosa, Argentina, I found myself drawn to the detours—the music that wasn't on the radio, the clothes that didn't fit the norm, the quiet corners of the room. For a while, I tried to follow a different script. I went to university and finished my degree, but I soon realized that my heart didn't belong there.
It took me a long time to realize that my "difference" was actually my greatest tool as a photographer. It allowed me to see people as they really are, not how they think they should look.
Meet my beautiful support team—our annual Día de Muertos portrait. ❤️
Just being there.
I’m not here to run the show. My job is simple: I stay present, I stay quiet, and I watch.
A few things that make me happy:
The Rituals: A good specialty coffee and the occasional ice-cold IPA.
The Soundtrack: Playing my guitar (still chasing that Glen Hansard soul).
The Passion: Boca Juniors, no matter what.
The Mindset: Minimalism. Not just as an aesthetic, but as a way to stay focused on what actually matters.
